Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 388

Monique quickly made her way into the planning department. She caught the tail end of the discussion. “...Who knows if she’ll even show up today?”

The chatter died down when everyone turned to look at Monique.

Amelia smiled at the woman who just arrived. “Monique, you’re here. Do you want anything to drink?”

Monique shook her head and said with a smile, “No. Thank you, Miss Amelia.”

“Don’t be shy. Let me know if you need anything,” Amelia replied.

“Thank you, Miss Amelia.” Monique gave the woman a bright smile.

“Have you submitted the proposal?” Monique asked.

Amelia was a good person. She helped Monique with the proposal and her leave application.

Monique wanted to buy Amelia a meal one day.

The question was undeserving in Amelia’s eyes. A mere aide worried about her work?

Amelia only helped because Assistant Manager Walt reached out to her. She could care less about Monique’s proposal.

She kept her dissatisfaction to herself. After all, Monique was the chairman’s woman. She replied, “Yes, I submitted it after your corrections.”

She wondered what the chairman saw in Monique.

Amelia felt she was better in terms of qualities compared to the woman.

Monique thought about calling but the new phone did not have the woman’s number.

She decided that she would try to look for Louise during her lunch break.

She was done with the planning proposal and wondered what she would be working on next.

Monique walked over to Amelia’s desk and interrupted the woman as she was daydreaming. “Amelia, is there something I can work on today?”

Henry Moore walked out of the elevator with a grin on his face.

Mandy greeted him. “Good morning, Chairman Moore.”
