Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 389

Mandy read through the chairman’s email first thing in the morning.

The marriage agreement was between Henry Moore and Monique Xander.

Soon, Monique Xander would become Chairman Moore’s wife.

It was earth-shattering news.

As Mandy skimmed through the document, she realized the chairman was truly fond of Monique.

The rules in the agreement bound her to him. Monique was not allowed to contact other men and return home late. She needed to give Henry a kiss and bid him goodnight every day. There were two pages worth of trivial rules which surprised Mandy.

If the chairman decided to end the relationship, Monique would be compensated with $3,000,000,000 and Angel would be taken care of. There were other undisclosed compensations.

My goodness.

Who would choose to leave the chairman? He had the looks and the money to make up for the fact that he was sometimes demanding and moody. Mandy noticed Monique getting closer to Chairman Moore. It was a feat few could achieve.

Henry acknowledged the greeting with a nod and went inside his office.

Mandy went to make a cup of coffee for the chairman. From the looks of it, Chairman Moore was in a good mood which meant Mandy could relax.

She walked into his office with the coffee and said, “Chairman Moore, your coffee.”

The cup was placed on the table before Mandy informed him of the day’s schedule.

Once she was done, she stood awaiting Henry’s orders. She suspected he would want to make some arrangements for the marriage agreement.

Mandy read through the proposal and found it to be clear and concise. There were parts that could be better—she figured experience would fix the issue. The conclusion was long-winded but overall it was a well-written piece of work. For Monique’s first attempt, it was commendable.

With the proposal in hand, Mandy walked into the chairman’s office and said, “Here’s the document you requested.”

Henry put down the papers in hand and opted for Monique’s proposal.

There were many proposals that were more important than this but Henry never took any interest in them.

Mandy was aware of the chairman’s biasness.

The documents currently sitting on his table needed his attention yet he neglected them in favor of reading through Monique’s work. It was clear where the woman stood in his heart.

He smiled coyly after reading the proposal. He turned to Mandy and asked, “Are the flowers ready?”
