"So that means Felix was the one bullying other students first in that video, and Jonathan was stepping in to help?"
"Guess that proves you really can't judge something by what it looks like on the surface."
"I said there'd be a reversal. Looks like I was right."
"Jon is Elliot's brother. Of course he wouldn't bully his classmates."
At that moment, Elliot's fans came out too.
For a while, the whole internet turned upside down.
Some of the people who had been attacking Jon were exposed as paid agitators.
And some real users swung completely the other way.
Now they were all talking about Felix's bad behavior instead.

At that same moment, Miranda still had no idea what had happened.
She was sitting in the office, working.
The assistant rushed in and said, "Mr. Leighton, this is bad. Something happened."
"Something happened? What happened?"
"You should look at the news on the internet first."
The assistant didn't dare say more. He was afraid Miranda would dump all of her anger on him.
Miranda picked up her phone and looked.
The blood in her body seemed to freeze.
"How did this happen?"
She stared at the comments, one after another, all of them talking about her son, then snapped at the assistant, "Why are you still standing there? Get someone to take those videos down!"
"Mr. Leighton, we can't," the assistant said. "Even if we pay to suppress this side, the other side will pay to push it right back up. We can't get it taken down."
He could only let out a silent sigh.
Miranda really was foolish. Something already thrown onto the internet wasn't something she could still make disappear.
Besides, she had gone after someone else's child first. Now that it had happened to her own son, she finally knew what that kind of pain looked like.
Miranda looked at the comments filling the computer screen, and the rims of her eyes turned red.
Only when it landed on her own head did she finally understand what it was like when the ground gave way under her.
The calm she started with was long gone. Miranda pulled out her phone and called Cecilia.
