The Villainess Needs a Hug (Ivy Windsor) novel Chapter 996

Naylor froze the moment the words left his mouth. Seeing Katrina's reaction only made him feel more awkward.

He had blurted it out without thinking, and now he realized just how impulsive it was.

Katrina knew him too well. After staring at him for a few seconds, she figured it out, a sarcastic smile curling her lips. "Answered too quickly, didn't you? Regretting it already."

Naylor remained silent.

Panicked, Waller immediately interjected, "Katrina, what are you saying? Naylor agreed to marry you. He is manly enough to keep his word. He wouldn't back out—right, Naylor?"

Waller was deliberately using Naylor's words to corner him.

Katrina was absolutely sick of her father, but this time, she didn't tell him to leave.

She wanted to see how Naylor would deal with Waller.

"No answer? Guess you're not manly enough after all," Katrina provoked him, throwing fuel on the fire.

Unbelievably, Naylor remained perfectly calm, looking her dead in the eye in front of Waller. "You’ve experienced firsthand just how much of a man I am, haven't you?"

Katrina practically exploded on the spot!

Even Waller, who had no shame, was so embarrassed he wished the floor would swallow him.

Seeing both father and daughter completely stunned, Naylor frowned, as if making a firm decision, and spoke again. "I'm serious. I don't regret it."
