The Villainess Needs a Hug (Ivy Windsor) novel Chapter 995

She hadn't expected Waller to grow a conscience before she even made her move.

"Are you really willing to give them back?" She was still suspicious.

"Of course I am. Meet me at the restaurant downstairs from my company at noon. I'll have the lawyers bring the Equity Transfer Agreement, and we'll sign it." Waller put on a generous front.

Katrina remained doubtful, but knowing her mother's time was running out, she figured getting those shares back would make her happy.

Swallowing her hostility toward her father, she gave in. "What time at noon? There's no need for lunch. I'll sign the agreement and leave."

"Just be there before twelve."

"Fine. You better keep your word, or I'll post everything online and let the whole country judge you."

After hanging up, Katrina settled her mother back in her room and left the hospital to head to the restaurant near Waller's office.

When she arrived, Waller was already waiting in a private room.

Katrina pushed the door open and held out her hand. "Where is the Equity Transfer Agreement?"

"No rush, the lawyer isn't here yet," Waller deflected, trying to stall.

Katrina pulled out a chair and sat down, checking the time on her phone. "I'm giving you ten minutes."

Waller felt a pang of nervousness. He had made the call himself, and the guy promised to be on time. Why was he five minutes late?

Just as he reached for his phone to make another call, the door opened.

They both looked up. Waller's face lit up as he jumped to his feet to welcome the guest.

Katrina's face, however, froze.
