The Ugly Wife’s Stunning Comeback novel Chapter 710

Olisha approached Felicia and asked with concern, "Did you not sleep well last night, Evelynn?"

Felicia looked at her, offering a faint, polite smile. "I am fine."

Anne looked up at her mother. "Then you have to go to bed early with me tonight, Mommy. I do not want you to be tired."

"Okay, I will listen to you," Felicia said, lifting her eyes to look at the man walking toward them.

He simply said, "Let us eat breakfast first."

They moved to the dining room.

Olisha went to the kitchen and brought over a freshly baked pineapple pie for Anne. "Thank you, Olisha," Anne said graciously.

Olisha smiled. "You are very welcome."

Olisha then placed a cream cheese bagel in front of Felicia. "Please enjoy, Evelynn."

Felicia gave a soft hum of acknowledgment.

Just as Olisha turned to leave with the tray, the man's deep, unreadable voice rang out. "Sit down and eat with us."

Olisha froze upon hearing this.

She instinctively glanced at Felicia.

Hearing the man's words, Felicia remained silent, simply peeling a hard boiled egg for Anne.

Anne looked at Olisha and chimed in, "Sit down and eat with us, Olisha!"

Felicia's fingertips paused, and her heart sank heavily in her chest.

Anne was a very sensitive child. She knew who was genuinely good to her and who truly liked her. Her current attitude toward Olisha proved that Olisha was treating her with sincere affection.

Olisha knew her place very well. During this entire period, she had consciously never joined them for meals. Hearing Max actively invite her to have breakfast with them brought an unconcealable joy to her face.

She smiled, murmured her assent, and sat down neatly across from Felicia and Anne.

The housekeeper brought out a breakfast portion for her.

Olisha thanked the woman politely.

Watching Anne eat the pineapple pie, Olisha asked, "Is it good, Anne?"

Felicia took Anne upstairs to put on the new backpack she had bought yesterday.

Anne was thrilled to wear her new bag.

"Alright, let us go."

"Okay!"

Anne held her mother's hand, skipping along like a happy little rabbit. Watching her lively daughter, Felicia's entire demeanor softened.

Downstairs in the living room, Max stood watching the mother and daughter descend the stairs.

Felicia's gaze cooled the moment she saw him.

"Daddy!" Anne ran up to her father, spinning around to show off her new backpack. "Mommy bought this for me."

Max's usually sharp and cold features melted into doting warmth. "It looks beautiful. Mommy has great taste."

Anne giggled happily.

Max did not accompany Felicia to drop Anne off. Instead, he headed straight to the office.
