When the ingredients were served and cooked, Zachary and Anya started enjoying the food.
Zachary ordered a glass of cold beer and a glass of juice.
"Anya, thank you for today." Zachary poured himself a glass of beer and raised his glass at Anya.
She smiled and held the glass of juice before giving him a toast.
"Mr. Lloyd, that's not enough. If you really want to thank me, let me visit your place more often for meals."
"Sure," Zachary replied and agreed to her request without hesitation.
He just didn't expect Anya to go to his apartment frequently in the future to take advantage without paying for the meals.
"Mr. Lloyd, there's some sauce on your face." Anya raised her hand and gently wiped the stain on Zachary's face with a tissue.
The table was quite big. Anya had to stand up to wipe the stain off Zachary's face.
Her action immediately caught Wendy's attention.
When Wendy looked over, she saw Zachary smiling faintly and enjoying it while Anya wiped his face intimately.
Her glass fell to the floor and shattered into pieces.
Wendy's face turned slightly grim.
Zachary heard the noise and looked over suspiciously. He had gone into the restaurant with Anya 20 minutes ago. It was only then that he noticed Wendy sitting at the table beside them.
"Wendy, are you okay?" Ethan stood up and went closer to her, looking concerned. He held Wendy's hand and checked it carefully.
Wendy withdrew her gaze and smiled. She shook her head and replied, "I'm fine. It just slipped from my hand."
She coughed on purpose, bringing Zachary back to his senses. He averted his gaze, and his ears were flushed red in embarrassment.
Zachary dared not look at Anya, but she seemed amused.
She held her chin with both hands and tilted her head. Smiling, she fixed her gaze on him. "Mr. Lloyd, are you blushing?"
"What for?"
Hearing that, Zachary rolled his eyes at Anya and swiftly changed the topic. "You should act maturely as the company CEO."
"The manager of the business department has been hardworking and nice to others. Why did you deduct two thousand dollars from his bonus for no reason?" Zachary asked.
