At The Cabinda University.
Wallace stood energetically at the entrance, flanked by the university's top executives.
The entire student body of the medical department had caught wind of the news and gathered around, craning their necks eagerly to get a glimpse.
Anthony and Shirley stopped halfway, watching as she walked ahead.
"Asclepius, welcome."
Wallace trotted forward to take the lead. He extended his hand, his face full of genuine guilt. "I'm so sorry for the grievances you suffered previously."
"Asclepius!"
The executives behind Wallace bowed their heads in deep respect.
There wasn't a single trace of the disdain they had shown before.
Charlotte stayed silent. She lifted her gaze slightly, sweeping her eyes over the medical school building.
From doctoral candidates to freshmen, the students discreetly pulled out their phones to snap photos.
Asclepius!
Their idol!
They must have been out of their minds to ever think she was inferior to the students of The Cabinda University!
"Asclepius, the students of the traditional medicine class are already seated. They're just waiting for you," Wallace said carefully.
"Let's go."
Charlotte glanced back at Anthony, who was staring at her intently from beneath a large oak tree. She withdrew her gaze and followed Wallace through the main doors.
There were fifteen students in total in the traditional medicine class.
They sat with perfect posture, their eyes sparkling as they looked at Charlotte.
"Were they selected according to my requirements?"
Charlotte tilted her head toward Wallace, asking in a low voice.
"Yes."
Wallace nodded. "The primary requirement was a genuine passion for traditional medicine. After that, they went through a rigorous series of exams on the subject. They were filtered through multiple rounds."
Hearing that.
It felt like they had just been handed a free pass. Their tense nerves relaxed, and smiles broke out across the room.
See? Asclepius only looked aloof on the outside.
She was actually very approachable.
But before they could enjoy the relief for more than two seconds, Charlotte drawled out her next sentence. "Within two days, read the books I assign and submit a two-thousand-word reflection."
The innocent smiles of the students instantly froze on their faces.
"The first book is..."
Ignoring their horrified stares, Charlotte fired off the titles at a brisk pace.
Stunned for a moment, the students finally snapped out of it and scrambled for their pens and paper to jot down the titles.
"In two days, anyone who fails to submit their reflection will be automatically dropped from the traditional medicine class."
Charlotte pushed off the desk and dusted her hands off, a slight smirk playing on her lips. "Two days is plenty of time."
