The Impossible Divorce novel Chapter 26

Sophia seemed to be defeated by this sentence. She took a few steps back with a sad and disappointed expression on her face, "Since you think so, then why are you looking for me? I'm very happy to leave you!"

Brady was very angry and sad. Sophia's words were like a sharp sword, piercing straight into his heart and stirring it up again. He gritted his teeth and said, "Good, good! If so, then pray that this fellow would protect you for the rest of your life!"

Brady left angrily. Jim kicked her who was sitting at the door as if she had lost her strength. "Hey, are you ok?"

Sophia shook her head. She was so exhausted. She happily waited for him to arrive. When he came, he hurled abuse at her. Brady, he was a bastard.

Jim exhaled a big breath and patted his chest, "It's good that you didn't die. Oh my god! The way he just behaved almost tore down our house."

Sophia raised her head and smiled apologetically at Jim, "Sorry, I might have to disturb you for a while."

Jim lowered his head and joked, "It is no trespass if you marry me. You can stay as long as you want."

Sophia "..."

The next few days were the few days when Sophia had no psychological burden other than the time when she was free. Although Jim joked with her, his behavior was very gentle.

It was only later that Sophia found out that this fellow had only just reached adulthood. The little brat called her a girl every day, although he is younger than her.

Eric had been here once in the past few days, probably to apologize. He was mocked speechlessly by Jim and left dejectedly. Before leaving, he swore that he was definitely not responsible for the car accident.

Sophia shook her head. Even if Eric didn't say anything, she knew that apart from Colin and Camille, no one else wished to kill her.

At this moment, Sophia was eating and sleeping well in Jim's house, and had no idea that the situation outside was serious.

The shareholders of D.S. Corporation had successively exploded with scandals. There were huge deficits, endless economic loopholes, and a few of them were involved in the rape and death case a few years ago. The public was in an uproar. The stock market of the Gray Corporation fell by a limit for several days in a row. The Gray Family was about to come to an end.

Two years ago, the Gray family business was nowhere near as good as it is now. After Eric returned from studying abroad, he used some darker methods to make the Gray Family rise so quickly. Now that these methods were exposed, not many loyal subordinates had betrayed them one by one. The Gray Family was now an empty shell.

Eric, this lesson is to let him know that no one is allowed to harm Brady's woman!

Brady grabbed her, lifted her chin and said, "Do you dare to leave?"

"Why don't I dare to leave?" Sophia stared at Brady.

Brady laughed angrily, "Sophia, you've been free for so many days. Do you really think of yourself as someone else?"

Sophia stiffened when she heard this. She almost cried out, "Then what do you want? I'll stay in your way. You want to catch me back after I leave. Brady, what do you want me to do?"

Brady leaned closer to her. There were too many emotions in those eyes that were hard to express.

He paused. For a moment, he seemed to want to say something, but in the end, he suppressed it. His eyes revealed a terrifying darkness.

"Sophia, listen carefully. Since you are so hydrated, then I will lock you by my side. Whether you are dead or alive in this life, you are my Brady's woman. You will never be able to escape from my palm!"
