The Impossible Divorce novel Chapter 20

Brady did not return home overnight.

Sophia lay on the bed and lost sleep.

The next day, Brady did not come to work.

Sophia walked out of the elevator under the strange gazes of the company people. She walked through the corridor and into the office. She was still puzzled. Why did they look at her with gloating expression?

She walked to the office and habitually swept over the president's desk.

Brady didn't come to work?

Her eyebrows knitted slightly, and she suddenly had a bad premonition.

At this time, Mia called her, "Sophia, are you alright?" Sophia frowned and said, "I'm fine. What's wrong?"

Mia breathed sighs of relief, "I'm relieved. Originally, I thought that Brady..."

"What happened to Brady?" Sophia asked as the sense of uneasiness grew stronger and stronger.

"You don't know?" Mia asked in surprise, "Didn't you even watch the news today? The reporter caught Brady hooking up with a rich woman. Congratulations, you will get out of the Sea of Misery soon."

Sophia did not know how she hung up the phone. She turned on her computer and immediately got this message that is Brady kissed Villa, the daughter of a wealthy man.

There were also two pictures. One was Villa talking to Brady in the restaurant. In this picture, it looked like Villa was kissing Brady's earlobe.

The other one was at the entrance of the restaurant. Brady almost hugged Villa.

Was Brady sleeping with that mixed-blood woman all night?

Sophia was very upset. She moved her finger to the call button and hesitated.

In the end, Sophia put her phone aside and started her day's work sadly.

Brady didn't show up until Sophia was about to get off work. Sophia finally couldn't help but dial Brady's phone.

"Sophia, how is it going recently?"

Sophia cheered herself up, "Mm-hmm, it's good. Thank you for your concern."

Eric said, "Have you been busy with your work lately? Are you still as tired as you used to be?"

"I'm not busy at all. How can I be busy if the boss doesn't come to work?" Sophia replied angrily.

"That's good. May I treat you to dinner tonight as my birthday present?" Eric said.

Sophia hesitated. She thought that if she ate with Eric, Brady would be furious when he came back.

Eric knew about her hesitation and said, "It doesn't matter. If you don't want to go, then you won't come. I said I won't force you."

Hearing that, Sophia was instantly enraged. Brady could sex with other women. She also could celebrate a birthday with her friend.

"I'll go!" She answered immediately.
