The Heartbreak Prescription (by Glazed Snow) novel Chapter 1129

Lottie tried to speak. "I…"

Nathan tightened his grip on Ivy's hand. "You should apologize to my wife. You owe Ivy an apology."

Lottie froze in place.

Nathan gave a cold laugh. "What, you don't want to say it? Looks like you don't appreciate the chance I just gave you."

The threat in his voice was obvious. He was forcing Lottie to apologize to Ivy.

Ivy looked at Nathan, who was standing up for her.

Lottie was scared now. While she admired Nathan's power, she feared it just as much.

She turned to Ivy and bowed her head.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Lowe. This was my fault. I shouldn't have been rude. I shouldn't have been arrogant. And I absolutely shouldn't have laid a hand on you. I apologize. Please forgive me."

Ivy turned to Madge behind her. "Do you want to forgive her?"

Madge shook her head. "She was so aggressive when she was hitting people. Now she's only backing down because she has no choice. I don't want to forgive her."

Everyone has to pay for their own mistakes. Between adults, a simple "I'm sorry" doesn't make everything go away.

Just then, the nightclub owner rushed in.

"Mr. and Mrs. Lowe."

Nathan looked at him. "Great timing. This woman is an eyesore. I don't ever want to see her again."

"Understood," the owner replied immediately. "I'll take care of it, sir."

Nathan took Ivy's hand. "Come on. Let's go home."

Ivy nodded. "Okay."

With that, Nathan and Ivy left.

Madge looked at Lottie and sneered, "Next time, don't pretend to be something you're not. And you shouldn't be a side chick. It's despicable."

Then, she walked away.

Lottie's legs gave out, and she collapsed onto the floor. She knew it was over.

Nathan, Ivy, and Madge walked outside.

Martin was standing by the luxury car. "Mr. Lowe, Mrs. Lowe."

Nathan opened the back door for Ivy like a gentleman. "Get in."

Ivy smiled. "Thank you."

She got into the back seat.

Nathan followed and sat beside her, while Madge took the front passenger seat.

Martin drove, and the car glided smoothly down the road.

Madge started praising Nathan nonstop.

"Mr. Lowe, you were so cool just now! I honestly thought you had something going on with that Lottie woman. I never expected you to be so loyal. You even protected Ms. Ivy! You're seriously the perfect husband!"

She gave Nathan a big thumbs-up.

"I've worked for Mr. Lowe for many years," Martin added with a smile. "His private life has always been spotless. And with his standards, only someone as exceptional as Mrs. Lowe would ever catch his eye."
