The Heartbreak Prescription (by Glazed Snow) novel Chapter 1113

**TITLE: My Dad Please Come 1113**

Nathan and Ivy made their way back to the table at the restaurant, the atmosphere still buzzing with the remnants of laughter and clinking glasses.

As they settled into their seats, Wendy turned her gaze toward Ivy, her eyebrows raised in curiosity. “So, did you manage to shake off that bothersome woman?”

Ivy couldn’t help but smile, a hint of relief washing over her. “Yeah, she’s gone.”

However, a nagging thought lingered in the back of her mind. Kate was the type who clung like a shadow, and Ivy knew deep down that this wouldn’t be the last they’d see of her.

Yet, that wasn’t the crux of the matter. Ivy was acutely aware that the true focus of her life had shifted dramatically; pregnancy was now at the forefront of her thoughts. She needed to wield every ounce of influence she could muster.

Wendy felt an instinctive bond with Ivy, recognizing a kindred spirit in her. They were both formidable women, each having navigated their own share of challenges. Their similar backgrounds only deepened this connection.

Wendy herself had a stepsister, Jessica, who was just as insufferable as Kate. The thought of her brought a slight grimace to Wendy’s face, a shared understanding of familial trials hanging in the air between them.

Nathan, sensing the time slipping away, interjected, “It’s getting late. We should head back.”

Stanley, cradling Bella in his arms, smiled warmly. “We’ll have to do this again soon.”

Ivy nodded, her heart feeling lighter. “Goodbye, Mr. Hawk, Dr. Crone, Bella.”

With that, Nathan and Ivy made their exit, stepping out into the cool evening air. Nathan turned to her, curiosity etched on his face. “Are you heading home?”

Ivy nodded, her tone casual. “Yeah. I drove here myself.”

Nathan fished out his keys, a glint of mischief in his eyes. “Leave your car. Just come back with me.”

Ivy hesitated for a brief moment but then agreed, feeling a sense of comfort in his presence. “Alright.”

She slid into the passenger seat, and as Nathan drove, the familiar streets of their neighborhood blurred past them. Half an hour later, they arrived at the villa, the cozy lights spilling warmth into the night.

Wanda rushed out to greet them, her face lighting up with enthusiasm. “Mr. and Mrs. Lowe, welcome home! Have you two eaten yet?”

Ivy smiled gently, “Yeah, we already had dinner.”

Nathan glanced over at her, his expression shifting to one of concentration. “I’m going to the study to finish some work.”

With that, he headed upstairs, leaving Ivy alone with Wanda.
