The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 947

"Well done, Timothy," Brian said approvingly. "You have a bright future ahead."

On any other day, Timothy would have felt a warm sense of pride at Brian calling him by name. But today, he just wanted Brian to arrive quickly.

He replied, "Please hurry, Dr. Zeller! I've arranged for photos, and the family is ready. We're just waiting for you!"

Brian chuckled. "I'll be right there!"

After the call ended, Timothy turned to Devin. "I called him, and he's coming. He's the real mastermind. I'm just a nobody following orders, so please let me go!"

"In your dreams!" Devin snarled. "I'm avenging my precious son!"

Devin lunged at Timothy, raining down punches in a wild frenzy. His fists fell like a storm upon Timothy's face, one after another. He only stopped when he was exhausted, leaving him gasping for breath.

Timothy lay motionless on the floor, his face unrecognizable. Matthew watched silently, considering their options for cleanup.

The best way was to get Brad to deal with this, but Brad had already reminded him that he would not help Matthew with such things. The other way was to get Ansel's help disposing of the bodies.

Yet, the situation here was a little different from usual as Pierre and Devin were at the scene. Hence, the only way to keep things completely under wraps would be to silence them both.

However, Matthew was not about to turn into a cold-blooded killer. He could not bring himself to harm his own people.

As Matthew hesitated, Devin suddenly broke the silence.

"I-I think I killed him," he stammered, his voice shaking. Don't worry—I'll turn myself in. I'll take full responsibility and keep you both out of it."

Pierre interjected, "Don't be ridiculous. They were trafficking organs and tried to silence us, so this was self-defense. We just need to get our story straight."

Devin nodded. "Alright, I'll follow your lead. My mind's a mess now."
