"I heard those words, and everything instantly clicked. Aunt Mila had passed away at 10:00 p.m. yesterday, but the hospital records showed three injections of imported emergency medication.
'But they didn't give her those shots. How could they charge for them?' I felt my anger rise like a storm inside me.
"I wanted to scream, to hit someone, to lash out, even to kill. A doctor holding a body bag suddenly shoved me. 'What are you standing around for? Help with the body!' he said.
"I lost it. I slapped him across the face as I roared, 'Help with your damn body bag? This is my aunt! She died last night, and you're forging records for three imported injections? Can you give injections to a dead person? Have you all lost your minds for money?'
"He looked at me, stunned for a moment. He then pointed at me and asked, 'You… You're not even a doctor! How did you sneak into the operating room? That's a violation!'
"I was trembling with fury. 'I am a doctor in this hospital! What do you mean by violation? You're the ones falsifying medication records. That's illegal! I'm calling the police right now!'
"Before I could act, something heavy struck my head. My vision went dark, and I lost consciousness.
"When I woke up, I found myself bound hand and foot, lying on a couch in an office. Several security guards and Timothy were standing nearby.
"As soon as I saw Timothy, I shouted, 'Dr. Fern! Call the police! They're faking medication records to scam people! Hurry!'
"Timothy remained unfazed, his tone dripping with sarcasm. 'What I see is you storming into the operating room, disrupting the staff, unable to handle your relative's death, and now fabricating lies to cause trouble.'
"'You're lying!' I was on the verge of breaking down. 'I don't care what you say! I want to call the police. Let me go!'
