The cup shattered as blood mixed with half a cup of coffee dripped down Cameron's face. His face twitched in pain, and he wanted nothing more than to kill Lorenzo.
However, he remembered his grandfather's advice about staying patient. So, he gritted his teeth and silently endured the humiliation.
Angered by Cameron's silence, Lorenzo snapped, "What are you standing there for? You need to figure something out, damn it!"
Cameron took a deep breath, suppressing his hatred. Then, he replied helplessly, "He's stuck in traffic... there's nothing I can do."
Lorenze immediately cursed at Cameron, "You idiot, you absolute moron! You're not some delivery guy, not some minimum wage worker, and definitely not a farmer—you're a Fuller!
"Can't you use your connections? What about your network? Don't you know the Lambda City Mayor?"
The Lambda City Mayor? Cameron had never been involved in the Fuller family business until his relatives passed away. Otherwise, he would not have been in charge at all.
Though he knew the Fuller family had connections in Lambda City, the current situation was simply that Matthew was stuck in traffic and could not make it back to Delisnora Bay.
Would they really bother the mayor for something this trivial? Besides, reaching the mayor was not that simple—they would need intermediaries.
Cameron increasingly felt that Lorenzo's attitude was frighteningly arrogant. It was as if Lambda City belonged to him.
Despite his racing thoughts, Cameron kept his expression neutral and replied with a smile, "We could reach out to the mayor through our connections, but contacting him... probably wouldn't help much."
"What do you mean it wouldn't help?" Lorenzo looked at Cameron with contempt. "He could order the traffic police chief to clear the roads!"
Emily usually focused entirely on her research, barely acknowledging him at the company unless she needed funding. This was her first time calling him directly.
Emily spoke impatiently, "About that mechanical exoskeleton—my colleague has decoded the data. Well, not exactly decoded... The data was open-access, readable, and modifiable once connected.
"The key is that the brain wave and motion parameter data are separate packages. Anyone could wear and use it just by inputting their brain wave patterns. Want to come take a look?"
Matthew recalled Tessa's proud boast about the mechanical exoskeleton's strength, claiming it could punch through 70 brick layers.
Then, images from sci-fi movies flashed through his mind, where invincible heroes were equipped with mechanical armor and had superhuman strength.
His blood pumped with excitement as he replied, "Absolutely! I'll head over right now. Wait for me. I'll be there shortly!"
