A few seconds later, the car slowly pulled away, quickly disappearing from Stella Cameron's line of sight.

Because of the heavily tinted windows, she couldn't see who had come to pick up Joshua Gardner.

But she was certain it wasn't his assistant or one of his men—they would have stepped out to open the door. Besides, in the brief second Joshua pulled the door open, she caught a glimpse of the driver. It looked like a woman.

Ten minutes later, the tow truck arrived.

The driver approached her politely. "Ms. Cameron, before we tow these two vehicles, please remove any valuables to prevent them from being lost or damaged."

Stella didn't have anything of value in her own car, so she gave him the green light to hook it up.

But she wasn't so sure about Joshua's car.

Opening the passenger door, her gaze immediately landed on the large, exquisite Black Roses resting on the seat.

She picked up the bouquet. The sudden collision had left her slightly rattled, but seeing the flowers now sparked a sudden realization. Joshua wasn't the type of man to just pick flowers on a whim.
