Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1705

Milka said, “I drove here tonight. If Mars gets home and sees I’m not back, he’ll start asking questions.”

Molly added, “Same here. If I drink and drive, Chad will bust me and make me eat cafeteria food as punishment.”

Mia sighed and put her beer back in the fridge. “You make jail food sound almost appealing, Molly.”

Just then, Anya piped up, “Well, my Chad doesn’t drink at all~”

Everyone turned her way.

Anya grinned. “He’s coming to pick me up after work and drive me home tonight.”

Molly and Mia exchanged a look—a mischievous grin passing between them. No words needed.

Last time, they just ordered takeout. Tonight, Anya had gone all out—she’d hauled in a mountain of seafood and was planning a homemade seafood feast.

“Aunties, sisters, I’m lightning fast in the kitchen! Just give me a minute!” Anya called out, bouncing into the kitchen, excited to be in charge.

Annie and Milka, both handy with a spatula, followed her in to help.

Out in the living room, Mia and Molly started tidying up.

Lizzy was sprawled on the couch, her two little brothers crawling around her—their ages combined barely five.

Jade, queen of takeout, couldn’t help herself and pulled out her phone. “Mia, want to order something, just in case?”

After straightening up, the two of them waited for their food while the kitchen crew got busy with all that seafood.

They’d picked up a ridiculous amount of snacks, barbecue, even a giant roast chicken. Molly and Mia went downstairs to grab it all. “Henry, watch your brother and sister, okay?”

Henry puffed out his cheeks, trying to look very serious. “You have to come back quick, Mom~”

“I will, honey.”

By the time they made it back upstairs, the table was set, and Annie was mixing up sauces. Motherhood had put a softness in Annie’s voice. “You know, at the last get-together, I was already pregnant with Lizzy. I didn’t even know! Found out a couple days later,” she said, laughing.

So the guys started chatting. “Mars, what’s up with you and Milka these days?”

Mars groaned. “There’s this director at her office—Greg. The guy’s like a mosquito, keeps buzzing around, trying to get Milka’s attention. I’m thinking about putting him in his place.”

Andre snorted. “Loser.”

Mars rolled his eyes. “Greg’s got nothing on me.”

Teddy grinned. “Andre meant you, buddy.”

Andre’s always had a straight-up, no-nonsense approach when it comes to rivals.

Over at the studio, Leo was finishing up dinner. Chunky had dropped over a hundred pounds—just three more to go. He was so hyped about hitting his goal, he wouldn’t even eat, wanting to show off to everyone when he finally made it.

Leo pushed his plate toward him. “Chunky, you’re working out now. This bit of food won’t even show. Eat up.”
