Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 773

Sebastian said with a hint of amusement in his voice, “She’s not foolish… she just trusts you, and me.”

When you trust someone, you don't harbor suspicions.

Emily nodded and said, “I get it now… Come on, Seb, stop being such a love guru… Seeing you look out for your girl like that, I’m afraid I’ll never find a boyfriend when I grow up.”

“Why wouldn’t you find one?” Sebastian asked, genuinely puzzled.

In his heart, Emily was no longer just a little kid. This little girl had thoughts beyond her years. She was precocious.

Emily winked at him and said, “Because I’m scared I won’t find a guy who treats me as well as Seb treats his lady… Then I’ll just end up nagging him all the time and we’ll argue every day.”

Sebastian chuckled and replied, “That won’t happen…”

“It definitely will.”

“Kiddo, don’t always worry about the future, focus on the present.”

“I know, I know, Seb…”

But she was already accustomed to her ways. Back when she was more introverted, her mind was always racing with all sorts of wild thoughts. Back then, it wasn’t that she was out of it, she just didn’t want to speak, didn’t want to interact, didn’t want to face the world.

Even now, when she was alone, her mind would wander. She would use an adult’s logic to ponder all sorts of things. It felt like her brain was working overtime.

After a relaxing bath, Stephanie, wearing her pajamas, emerged from the bathroom. There she found her very own Silver Fox seated on the small couch in her room, engrossed in a pile of reports.

As she dried her hair, she approached him and teased, “Silver Fox… sniff this, does it smell good?”

“Hmm?”

“My hair… I got this new shampoo, it smells amazing, take a whiff.”

With that, she leaned in close so he could smell her hair.

What else? It's your vacation, not mine… I'm squeezing in time just to be with you.

Sebastian nodded, “Yeah…”

“Then I won’t disturb you any longer, Silver Fox. I’m off to dry my hair.”

“Good girl.”

Emily had slept well during the day and was now finding it hard to doze off at night. But it seemed as if she had grown up overnight… She began to understand certain things, and even though she was bored out of her mind, she didn’t feel like going upstairs to interrupt her mentor and Seb’s alone time.

After eating her fill, she naturally headed to the guest room and sprawled on the bed, fiddling with her phone.

After drying her hair, Stephanie went downstairs but couldn’t find anyone. She eventually located Emily in the guest room and said with a look of surprise, “Emily, why are you sleeping here in the guest room?”

Hearing her voice, Emily jumped up from the bed in a fright and exclaimed, “Why aren’t you in your room with Seb, sis? What are you doing here?”
