The restaurant was in chaos, with diners from nearby tables hastily making their exits. The waitstaff and the manager rushed over, attempting to defuse the situation. But Stephanie wasn't about to give them the chance. Before long, tables were flipped, and chairs were smashed. Using plates from her own table and others', Stephanie turned them into projectiles against her adversaries.
"Mom, you and Kevin get out of here. I'll handle this!" she exclaimed.
"Steph, don't do anything crazy..." her mother warned.
But Stephanie was beyond reason now. So Mrs. Klein wanted to teach her a lesson? Well, Stephanie was ready to give her a taste of her own medicine!
"Steph, stop it! If you don't, I'm going to get really angry!" her mother pleaded.
"I won't stop! Why should the Kleins get away with this? Just because they think we're pushovers? Today, I'll show them who's really easy to push around!"
With that, Stephanie hurled a plate straight at Mrs. Klein. Mrs. Klein, in a panic, shielded her face with her hands, which stung with pain as the plate struck, and she let out a shrill scream.
"Ah!! Murder!! The bastard's trying to kill someone!!"
"Someone grab her!"
The two bodyguards in black shared a wry smile. This fiery girl was obviously well-trained. She wouldn't be easy to catch. Outside, Sebastian's two undercover bodyguards, assigned to protect Stephanie, sensed trouble and burst into the scene.
"Ms. Bishop, did someone lay a hand on you?" one of the guards asked.
"That woman there! Take her down! Bringing bodyguards to a fight, how dare she? Who goes out without bodyguards these days? My family's Silver Fox assigned me some too, and they're much more formidable than hers."
Mrs. Klein, seized by the two unexpected bodyguards, felt her scalp tingle with fear. "Stephanie, what in the world are you planning to do?!"
Marilyn, with tears in her eyes, softened her voice. "Steph... they're just insignificant people. I really don't care about them... As long as you're okay, that's all that matters to me. They're not important."
"Important? They're bullying us to our faces! That makes it important to me, and I won't let it slide! I'm going to slap the hell out of her!"
As she said this, Stephanie raised her hand to slap Mrs. Klein again, but Marilyn grabbed her arm tightly, pulling her to the side. Marilyn's heart ached as she saw Stephanie's enraged and uncontrollable state, and tears began to flow.
"Steph, please... we can't resort to violence."
"Mom, can't you just let me be?"
Mrs. Klein had always treated Marilyn with contempt, as if she were the scorned wife dealing with a mistress. Stephanie had long been irked by her attitude. Today, she had resolved to put an end to Mrs. Klein's provocations. After all, it was Mrs. Klein who had come looking for trouble, wasn't it?
