Sebastian was at a loss for words.
Then he saw Stephanie suddenly look up, her eyes serious, "So are we dating now?"
The atmosphere was strange again.
A hint of awkwardness showed on Sebastian's face, "If you think we are, then we are."
"Then can I hug you?"
As soon as she finished talking, Stephanie's face turned red.
Sebastian looked a bit puzzled, "Do we have to hug because we are dating?"
"Yeah. hold hands first, then hug and then kiss. That's how they do it on TV. Those are the three stages of dating."
So, did they get the order wrong?
They had kissed last night and they had held hands a long time ago.
"So do you want a hug?"
Stephanie's face was flushed. She walked over, opened her arms, and threw herself into Sebastian's arms, hugging his waist.
In a moment, the only sound in the room was their heartbeats.
Stephanie's head was against Sebastian's chest, and she could hear it clearly.
Her body was rigid with tension.
Sebastian's ears were even getting a bit hot.
His hand was, almost unconsciously, on Stephanie's back, feeling her racing heartbeat.
Marilyn sneaked a peek outside and saw the two young people hugging. She couldn't help but laugh and didn't disturb them.
Half an hour later, they finally left the room, both feeling awkward.
Stephanie almost tripped while walking.
Marilyn reheated the breakfast, "Have you guys sorted things out? That's more like it. If there's any misunderstanding, just talk it out. Don't be so moody."
Her voice almost unconsciously carried a sweet and sassy tone, soft and tender.
Marilyn's mouth twitched.
But Sebastian thought Stephanie was being really good at that moment.
He smiled slightly, "Good girl."
Seeing Stephanie and her boyfriend being so affectionate made her feel a little awkward.
After breakfast, Marilyn sent Stephanie and Sebastian out of the house.
Of course, she only sent Stephanie out, while Sebastian chose to go with her.
Stephanie put her hands in her coat pockets and said, a little irritated, "My mom is way out of line. It's so cold, and she's sending us out to wander around. Where should we go?"
"We can just take a stroll?"
"It's so cold. I think it's going to snow again, the temperature has dropped below zero."
