People had always believed that she got together with Andrew after he broke up with Rence.

Though they still frowned at the fact that Catherine was dating Rence’s ex.

But now, Renee just revealed the truth which the public was unaware of.

They felt irritated by Catherine’s action.

Before Catherine could have the opportunity to explain herself, a glass bottle was smashed on the floor and a wooden stool was knocked over.

The fight continued.

It was total chaos in the bar.

“What the hell! Several men are unable to defeat two women? These two women must be martial arts specialists.”

“Wasn’t it said that Renee was so gentle that she couldn’t even screw on a bottle cap? How come she’s such a fierce fighter?”

“Holy moly! She just kicked someone effortlessly.”

The police eventually arrived and took everyone involved in the fight to the station.

“So, what happened? Why did adults like you fight in a bar? You are really lucky that someone called the police. Otherwise, you all might be either in the hospital or in jail by now,” a police officer said helplessly.

“Who called the police? I’ll kill him,” one of Andrew’s friends who was also involved in the fight shouted.

“Are you out of your mind? This is a police station!” the police officer reprimanded.

The young man shut his mouth obediently, looking embarrassed.

“Sir, it’s not our fault. These two started it, “Catherine said to the policeman, with an aggrieved expression. She pointed at Renee and Sarah, who were standing across the room, and shouted accusingly, “They slandered me and my boyfriend, and as if that wasn’t enough, they started to hit me. Everyone who was in the bar at the time can attest to that.”

Listening to Catherine’s version of events, Renee couldn’t help but smile slightly. “We slandered your boyfriend?” she asked coldly. She then cast a brief glance at Andrew’s friends before bringing her attention back to Catherine.” You mean I’m slandering you by saying you’ve been hooking up

“Renee! You!“Catherine pointed at Renee angrily. She was so angry that she was at a loss for words for a while.

Catherine had initially wanted to take this opportunity to call Renee’s claim that she and Andrew had been together a long time a lie. Her goal was to use the few people present at the station at the moment to spread the word so that her reputation wouldn’t suffer.

She didn’t expect Renee to turn the situation against her.

Andrew’s face was livid. He put his right arm around Catherine’s shoulders and pulled her closer to him. T looking at Renee, he said angrily, “Renee, I’m the only one at fault here.Catherine didn’t do anything wrong.”

“Sarah, you better keep quiet!” Andrew roared. In a fit of anger, he sprang up to his feet and rushed to Sarah to

beat her up. However, the police officer quickly stepped forward and stopped him.

At this point, the police officer had had enough. He glared at the people in the room and shouted, “That’s enough everyone! You’re at the police station and you still want to fight?”

With an innocent look on her face,Sarah said softly, “Sir, you will agree with me that two girls cannot compete with more than ten men and one woman, right? How could we have started the fight?”

“Sarah, shame on you!“Catherine shouted in shock and anger.

Although Sarah had an innocent look at this time, there was a slight smirk in her eyes.

She thought Catherine was more shameless than she was.

“Enough! You’re all going to take a civics class!” the policeman said unequivocally.

Since no one was killed or seriously injured in the fight, the matter could be settled without having to go to court. Once everyone involved in the fight had received civic education, they could wait for their families to come bail them out.

Andrew’s companions were delinquents who were used to finding themselves in a police station. Their families were soon there to pay their bail.

As Catherine and Andrew were leaving the station with their friends, they turned around and glared at Sarah and

Renee.

They deeply resented Sarah and Renee.

Ignoring the two people, Renee and Sarah looked at each other, wondering who to call to bail them both out.

Renee knew she couldn’t ask the Hudson family to pay her bail.

After thinking for a while, she finally called Marcelo. He was her only option. After all, she and Marcelo had become very intimate and close to each other.

Surely, he must care about her a bit.

Renee dialed his number twice but couldn’t connect.

The on–duty staff, having little to do, engaged in hushed conversations.
