Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 477

Sean Quinn was a former soldier, the kind of man whose caution and sense of secrecy ran bone-deep. There was no risk of him letting something slip, not even by accident.

That’s why Sean Quinn—and the powerhouse behind him, Quinn Capital—made for the perfect shield.

When Tyrone finished explaining, Kenney’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Mr. Lynch, did you and Mr. Quinn patch things up?”

If only they had, Kenney thought, barely hiding his excitement. If Tyrone and his uncle had joined forces sooner, maybe they would’ve rooted out the real villain long ago.

Tyrone just let out a low, humorless grunt, his face still stormy. “We didn’t patch anything up.”

He wasn’t about to forgive Sean Quinn so easily.

But neither of them really hated the other. They could still work together—after all, they were family.

Kenney coughed awkwardly. Sometimes, when an uncle and nephew were too close in age, that sense of deference just wasn’t there. Sean and Tyrone were a textbook case: always at odds, but when it mattered, each kept the other in mind.

“As long as you trust him, I’ll make the arrangements,” Kenney said, watching Tyrone for confirmation.

Tyrone nodded. “His personality’s a mess, but he’s reliable.”

Kenney nearly rolled his eyes. Tyrone calling someone else difficult—now that was rich.

“Vincent’s still eyeing the Easton project, isn’t he? Have Evercrest Group throw their hat in the ring too.” Tyrone’s voice dropped, all business.

It was a subtle warning for Vincent, all the way in Italy: stay away from his wife.

Kenney stifled a laugh. “Understood, Mr. Lynch.”

……

The Lawsons’ estate.

Stephen sat in the study with Mayfield and Mina Holloway, deep in discussion.

“I don’t see how we’re supposed to beat Evercrest Group on this project. Their growth has been off the charts lately. Why are we so determined to go head-to-head with them?” Mina asked, glancing at Mayfield, who nodded in agreement.

Stephen set the cup down, deep in thought. “Alright. You can go.”

Sean Quinn.

Tyrone’s uncle.

Sean Quinn was the head of Quinn Capital, entirely capable of secretly founding Evercrest Group. He certainly had the means and the ambition.

“Sean Quinn?” Mina echoed, still reeling. “He really went behind everyone’s back to start Evercrest Group? That’s… ambitious, to say the least.”

“Are we still going to keep pushing Evercrest Group?” Mayfield asked.

Stephen took a slow sip of tea. “Quinn Capital isn’t an opponent to take lightly. If Evercrest Group really is Sean Quinn’s… I’ll need to get authorization.”

He stood and stepped aside to make a call. “Sir, we’ve found out—it’s most likely Sean Quinn…”

The person on the other end was silent for a long moment before finally responding. “I’ll look into it. If it really is Sean Quinn, we can afford to ease up for now.”
