Chapter 129: The Man’s Indulgence

When Sebastian returned to his office after the meeting, he was greeted by an unexpected scene: Cameron and Lilian were sprawled comfortably on the plush lounge carpet, surrounded by an assortment of snacks and desserts, happily munching away without a care in the world.

Cameron, clearly enthusiastic, was urging Lilian to try more treats. “Lilian, you absolutely have to taste this red velvet cake—it’s incredible. One of my all-time favorites, seriously.”

Lilian glanced at the nearly empty plate before her, raising a skeptical eyebrow. Only a single slice remained, yet Cameron was still insisting she try it? A mental image of a cartoon crow circling above her head popped into her mind.

She had never encountered a man so utterly obsessed with sweets.

Just as she was about to politely decline, the office door swung open. She turned to see who had entered.

There stood Sebastian, his brow furrowed deeply in disapproval. His eyes scanned the scattered junk food littering the floor. “Get this garbage cleaned up,” he ordered Foster, his tone cold and devoid of any warmth. Then his gaze locked onto Cameron, sharp and warning.

Turning his attention to Lilian, Sebastian calmly approached, took the snack from her hand, and handed it to Foster. With a tender touch, he used a tissue to gently wipe the crumbs from the corner of her mouth.

His voice was firm, yet unmistakably tender. “No more of this unhealthy junk food. If you want snacks, I’ll have something specially prepared for you—but don’t eat random stuff from outside. You’re still growing, and this could seriously affect your health.”

Lilian watched as he carefully cleaned her hands, and despite herself, she burst into laughter. The way Sebastian doted on her felt more like a protective father than a boyfriend.

Catching her smile, Sebastian feigned irritation and gave her cheek a playful pinch. “Still laughing? You’re way too spoiled.”

“I feel like your daughter or something,” Lilian teased, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes.

Sebastian’s hand paused mid-air. A dark glint flickered in his eyes as he leaned closer, his breath warm against her ear. “I wouldn’t mind raising you,” he murmured.

Lilian froze, her cheeks burning with a sudden flush. “Pervert,” she whispered under her breath.

From the side, Cameron watched them with a look of utter dismay. “Hey! Sebastian! There’s still a living human here, you know!”

He had finally come to a painful realization: ever since Sebastian started dating Lilian, he wasn’t the same guy. Watching their interaction was pure torture for a single man like him.

Sebastian shot Cameron a cool glance, then took Lilian’s hand, grabbed his coat, and headed toward the door.

“Sebastian! Wait! How can you just leave me behind?” Cameron called after them, scrambling to keep up.

Downstairs, the Empire Group building buzzed with the evening rush. Sebastian led Lilian into the private elevator. As the doors slid open in the main lobby, their hands still intertwined, the entire space seemed to freeze.
