Chapter 115: Jorge’s Approval
The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension as everyone held their breath, silently waiting, hoping desperately for the answer that could change everything.
Jorge’s gaze remained fixed on Lilian, the young woman hailed as a miracle doctor. What impressed him most was her unwavering calmness. Even in this charged environment, filled with skepticism and pressure, she maintained a serene composure. Such steadiness was rare, especially in someone so young.
After a brief pause, Lilian gently pulled her hand away from Mr. Robert’s wrist, her face still serene and unreadable.
Without hesitation, Lambert stepped forward. “Ms. Lilian, what’s the situation?” His voice was edged with urgency.
All eyes turned toward her, filled with a mixture of hope and anxiety.
A faint smile touched Lilian’s lips. “I believe most of you already understand the basics of Mr. Robert’s condition. In simple terms, his blood circulation has stopped reaching his vital organs, which is causing his system to fail.”
Jorge nodded solemnly. “That’s right. His organs are shutting down quickly. With all the advancements in modern medicine, we can only keep his vital signs stable for a short time using medication. There’s no real cure.”
Lambert’s voice tightened with desperation. “Ms. Lilian, I know you’re a healer. Is there any other treatment you can try?”
Tania’s voice broke as she added, “Please, whatever it takes, we’re willing to do it. Just save our father.”
Lilian glanced at the siblings, their faces etched with raw hope and pain. She felt a deep stirring in her heart—such fierce, unwavering family love was something she truly admired.
Mr. Austin, equally tense, asked softly, “Lilian, dear, you really have a method, don’t you?”
She nodded gently. “Yes. My training includes a special acupuncture technique that can restore normal body functions, stimulate circulation, dilate the blood vessels in the brain, and increase blood flow. If done correctly, it might bring him back.”
“Really?” Lambert’s voice trembled with disbelief. “You can actually cure him?”
Lilian stayed composed. “I believe I can. But I need to be honest—I’ve studied this technique extensively, but I’ve never applied it to a patient before. You deserve to know that upfront.”
