Chapter 1076 Triny’s Final Decision

“Is that really possible?” Triny asked, her voice wavering.

“Of course.” Renee’s smile was full of confidence. “You have to realize Lilian has skills you don’t. It is only a matter of time before ha catches on. Instead of living in constant fear of being exposed, it is better to just control him. That way, you can be whoever you want.”

Triny was stunned by the picture Renee was painting. If she truly had him under her control, all her worries would vanish, it was a permanent solution.

Better yet, once she had him, she could make him take care of Renee and Jane for her. The thought sent a surge of dark excitement through her.

“Well? Have you made up your mind?” Renee asked casually.

Triny’s gaze hardened. “Fine. I’ll do it.”

A cold smirk played on Renee’s lips. She stood up and patted the girl’s shoulder. “That’s the spirit. A man is only reliable when he is in your pocket. Otherwise, he will eventually end up in someone else’s bed.”

“I understand” Triny whispered.

“Good. Wait for my signal tomorrow. Once Lilian is out of the way, it’s your turn to take the stage. Don’t mess this up. If you do, it won’t just be me going down. You will drag the entire Lindt family into the grave with you.” Renee turned and strolled out of the

room.

Triny watched her go, her eyes dark and full of malice.

In the dining room at Ravenwo

Manor

Lilian was currently devouring a plate of ribs, completely ignoring etiquette. Sebastian sat beside her, piling more food onto her plate. “Slow down. Stop eating just the meat; have some vegetables too.”

Lilian shot him a playful glare. “I am starving. I barely had a bite for lunch and haven’t eaten since.”

Sebastian looked at her with concern. “Are your classes that demanding lately?”

Lilian thought about it for a second. “It’s not just that. I want to master other forms of medicine and surgery as fast as I can. I don’t want to be helpless when it matters.”

After everything with her master and Greg, she knew she had to learn. She hated the feeling of leaving the lives of those she loved in someone else’s hands. That powerlessness was something she never wanted to feel again.

Sebastian saw the flicker of sadness in her eyes and reached out to ruffle her hair. “You’ve already done so much. Don’t burn yourself out, okay? It hurts me to see you like this.”

Lilian smiled. “Don’t worry about me. I’ve got it.”

Sebastian tapped her nose lightly. “You are impossible.”
