Valerie froze in surprise at the sight of them, her eyes instinctively darting to Kelly..

Kelly was still busy taking selfies, grinning at the camera as she puckered her lips and made a peace sign. Clicking away, she was ready to post them to Instagram and said excitedly, “It’s been ages since I last came to a bar! Ever since I started dating Angelo, my social life has basically disappeared.

“Angelo is such a stick–in–the–mud! Not only does he refuse to come to places like this himself, but he even lectures me when I want to go. It drives me crazy!”

Valerie couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness for Kelly in that moment.

Valerie wondered, ‘He never comes to places like this himself, and he doesn’t even let Kelly go. But Renata has always loved this kind of scene. So is he here tonight because he actually wanted to come, or is it all just for Renata?”

Unaware of Valerie’s discomfort, Kelly held up her phone and asked cheerfully, “How does this pic look?”

Valerie barely registered Kelly’s presence, her gaze drawn to the nearby sofa.

Angelo and Renata were sitting even closer now. Renata let her hand slide up his thigh, growing bolder with each movement. Angelo was clearly flustered, the air between them thick with unspoken tension.

Kelly bounded over, phone in hand, her face alight with excitement. “Let’s grab a group selfie! How about all four of us post matching updates on Instagram?”

Valerie forced a small smile, her heart aching as she asked softly, “How are things between you and Angelo?”

Kelly let out a surprised look and replied, “Great! Why are you asking?”

Valerie’s lips thinned into a tight line. She didn’t answer. Instead, her gaze locked onto Angelo and Renata.

To Valerie’s shock, at this very moment, the two were already locked in a passionate kiss.

Angelo pinned Renata down on the couch, one hand gripping her hip as their bodies entwined in a heated, passionate embrace.

Kelly followed Valerie’s gaze, and in an instant, all the color drained from her face.

Sariah and Johanna were chatting when they noticed the sudden change in Kelly’s expression. Following her gaze, their eyes landed on the two locked in a fiery embrace.

Sariah and Johanna didn’t know Angelo, but the look on Kelly’s face told them something serious was happening.

Sure enough, Valerie explained, “That’s Kelly’s boyfriend.”

Johanna and Sariah both froze for a moment, stunned. Then, unable to contain herself any longer, Kelly suddenly shot to her feet and stormed straight toward them.

At first, Kelly appeared composed, but the closer she got, the more bloodshot her eyes became. Suddenly, she couldn’t hold it in any longer, she let out a furious shriek and charged straight at them.

Valerie rushed after her, shouting, “Kelly!”

But it was already too late. With a piercing scream, Kelly lunged at Angelo, clawing desperately at his back in an attempt to tear him away from Renata.

Angelo was already burning with desire, his body fully aroused by Renata’s teasing. But the moment he saw Kelly, it was like being doused with Re he froze on the spot, stunned. “Kelly?” he stammered.

Kelly bit down hard on her lower lip, her eyes brimming with unshed tears of stubborn defiance. She glared furiously at Renata, who lounged sedictivele on the sofa, every inch of her radiating sensual provocation.

Renata was wearing an off–shoulder dress, now disheveled from her recent entanglement with Angelo. The fabric had slipped dangerously low, revealing the creamy swell of her breasts, while her beautiful face radiated pure seduction.

She was the very picture of a seductress.

Kelly shrieked as she lunged at Renata, “Renata, you bitch! How could you do this to me? What gives you the right?”

Kelly lunged at Renata. In that split second, she caught a clear glimpse of the triumphant glint in Renata’s eyes. Rage surged through Kelly’s veins, she grabbed Renata by the hair as she yanked her down violently.

Frantic, Renata shielded her face and shrieked, “Angelo!”

Angelo was already terrified. Before Renata could even cry out, he lunged forward and roughly yanked Kelly away.

But Kelly was holding on with desperate strength, and Angelo couldn’t pry her loose. Losing patience, he grabbed her hair too and drove a vicious kick into her stomach, snarling, “Had enough?”

The brutal kick sent Kelly reeling, the impact knocking the breath from her lungs as pain exploded through her body.

Kelly’s grip was broken. Shocked, Valerie and Sariah rushed forward to support her.

Supported by Valerie and Sariah, Kelly clenched her teeth against the searing pain, her eyes wide with disbelief as she stared at Angelo, the man who had always coddled her with sweet nothings. In that moment, it was as if she were witnessing something utterly horrifying.

But Angelo had eyes for nothing but Renata. His face etched with frantic concern, he rushed to check on her. “Renata, are you okay?” he demanded.

In that instant, Kelly’s heart froze.

“Fuck this!” Johanna couldn’t stand it anymore. She grabbed a bottle from Angelo’s table and smashed it violently against the edge, the glass shattering with a deafening crash.

Angelo jolted in shock as Renata shrieked and clutched her head.

All eyes in the bar turned toward the commotion as the bouncers began swarming in.

Johanna grabbed Angelo by the collar and yelled, “What the fuck are you doing, hitting a woman? You fucking piece of shit!”

Angelo shoved her aside impatiently and snapped, “None of your damn business!”

Johanna let out a furious laugh. “None of my fucking business? Fuck you!”

Johanna flung the bottle aside and punched Angelo straight in the face.

Caught off guard, Angelo took the punch square in the face. He quickly recovered and swung back at Johanna, and the two were soon locked in a full–on brawl.

Valerie stared at Johanna, her mouth slightly agape.
