The next moment, Sebastian pulled Laura into a tight embrace. They hugged in the air, and an awkward silence settled around them.
"What… What's going on here?"
"Why are they embracing each other?"
Those below stared wide-eyed and were shocked at the sight of the two hovered above them.
Laura's face flushed as she shoved Sebastian away. She snapped, "You're…"
Feeling awkward, he scratched his head and replied, "Sorry, I didn't mean it."
She took a deep breath to calm herself. "Forget it. Let's continue."
They resumed their fight, but this time, Sebastian was more cautious. He avoided direct confrontation and relied on his Phantom Stride technique to dodge her attacks.
Laura seemed to grasp his intentions. Her attacks became tricky as she tried to force him to retaliate. Colorful ribbons swirled in the air as their spiritual energies clashed. Their figures flickered and overlapped, which created a stunning display.
After exchanging blows for a while, he suddenly retreated a few paces. "Ms. Zimmer, shall we call it a draw?"
She nodded and was secretly relieved. From their earlier exchanges, she noticed that Sebastian's strength surpassed hers. If he hadn't held back, she would have already lost.
"Laura, good job," Isolde praised generously.
"Thank you, Ms. Nebulosa. I will work even harder." Laura was somewhat uneasy.
