Sebastian felt a shiver run down his spine. If he made Lazarus mad, Lazarus could easily kill him with a swat. However, he had no other choice because Lamia's injuries were too severe.
She needed acupuncture all over her body and would only show some improvement together with the help of some medication.
He wasn't doing this out of bravado nor to take advantage of Lamia but purely so that Lazarus would find him useful. This was the only way he could stay alive.
Without a word, Lazarus turned around and left.
"Phew…" Sebastian let out a long breath of relief. Thankfully, Lazarus wasn't mad and even gave his consent.
Nevertheless, Sebastian didn't dare to take it lightly. When he was removing Lamia's clothes, he was especially nervous. Once her clothes were removed but his treatment didn't show any positive effects, Lazarus would never let him off.
At this point, he could only give it a shot.
Lamia's figure was perfect. It was curvy at the right places, and her skin was flawless.
Despite that, Sebastian wasn't in the mood to admire all these. Hurriedly, he composed himself, retrieved his silver needles, and used the Flying Acupuncture technique.
But he failed at the first application because Lamia's body was too tough, and the silver needle couldn't penetrate into it at all.
He was using the silver needles he found in the treasure vault of the Twilight Empire. All of them were made of special material and engraved with formations, which turned them into magical artifacts. Even so, the needle almost broke.
Hence, Sebastian had to channel his spiritual energy into the silver needle and use the twisting method to get it into her body little by little.
It took him more than an hour and a great deal of effort to finally apply 36 silver needles into her meridians. Still, he couldn't relax at this point because this was only the first step.
