Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 843

"Thank you!" It was rare for Lazarus to thank anyone.

Sebastian said, "You don't have to thank me. I'm doing this to save myself. If you'd like to thank me, let me out of this place."

Lazarus was quiet for a few seconds before saying, "You may leave anytime. I'm not going to stop you."

"Farewell!" Sebastian was excited. Finally, he could leave this horrible place.

He rushed to the bottom of the cave entrance and started to climb, but the surface of the cave was so smooth that he had no grip at all.

But he came prepared. Withdrawing a dagger, he slashed the cave wall, but all it did was an echoing clang.

Sebastian was bewildered. This dagger was a supreme artifact. With the aid of his spiritual energy, it could even cut the finest steel, but there wasn't a single scratch on the cave wall.

Next, he took out Demon Blade, activated his spiritual energy to the maximum, and slashed the wall, growling low.

Amidst a clang and fire sparks, the Demon Blade bounced off the wall violently and sent vibrations through Sebastian's hands.

He hacked a few more times afterward. Clanging sounds filled the air and sparks were flying, but the cave wall remained smooth and shiny. There wasn't a single damage on it. Instead, Sebastian's hands were numb from the vibrations.

Lazarus approached him. "The wall is made of meteorite iron, an extremely tough weapon-making material. Furthermore, it is reinforced with formations.

"Even if your cultivation is ten times stronger, you cannot cut through it."

Sebastian looked at Lazarus, the only one who could help him out of here.

"I can help you until the entrance of the cave, but there's a barrier there. Everything can only come in but not out. With your cultivation, it's impossible to cut through the barrier."

"Am I going to die here?" Sebastian was in dismay.
