Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 160

"Dr. Kray, could you please save Lily and make sure that she lives?"

After Hayden left the hospital, he contacted Wagner.

"Have you made up your mind?" Wagner asked.

"Yes, I have," Hayden replied.

"Alright. I'll go and save her." Wagner was surprised. He didn't expect Hayden to choose to save one of the Sterling family members after the torment he had suffered at the Sterling residence.

Hayden felt torn. He wanted to sever ties with the Sterling family, but he didn't want them to die. The only person who deserved that was Morgan.

After that, Hayden returned to the Caldwell residence.

"Hayden, come and eat." Serena smiled brightly as she carried the dishes to the dining table.

"Where did you go today? Why are you back so late?" James asked with concern.

"Hayden, I'm going to be a junior soon. I'm sure I'll get good results in the final exam. Will you give me a reward?" Jenny greeted Hayden as she relaxed on the couch.

Seeing the scene in front of him, Hayden was gratified. It had been a while since he had experienced the feeling of being home. He couldn't help but feel nostalgic.

He no longer had anything to do with the Sterling family.

That night, the way the Sterling family had treated him, along with his announcement of severing ties with them made it clear that he no longer had any connection with them.

Hayden didn't want to keep in touch with them anymore.

At this point, the Caldwell family was his real home. It was the only place he could truly call home.

Lily had been put on a ventilator, and she was receiving an IV drip while lying on the hospital bed. She looked very ill.

There was nothing more that the hospital staff could do. They didn't know what else to try, so they had set up the equipment from the ICU. It was better than doing nothing at all.

"Mr. Sterling, this is Dr. Kray," Joshua introduced as he led Wagner into the ward.

The Sterling family members stood there awkwardly while looking at Wagner eagerly.

Morgan didn't even dare to lie down. He stood among the crowd, looking very obedient.

"Dr. Kray, I beg you to save my daughter. She was rude, but I've already scolded her. Can you please save her and let her live?" Francis asked, kneeling down and groveling before Wagner. Francis was very sincere when he was begging.

"Someone requested me to come, so I'll handle this well. You don't have to do this," Wagner said softly. He ignored Francis and walked toward Lily.
