Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 161

Everyone didn't dare to talk. They stood behind Wagner and waited.

"Kiddo, I wasn't joking with you. Now, do you believe me?" Wagner teased with a smile.

"Yes…" Looking aggrieved, Lily pursed her lips and couldn't stop crying.

She felt miserable, and she blamed herself for not heeding his advice back then. But now, she felt very lucky because Wagner had come to save her.

"Fortunately, the symptoms showed up early. Otherwise, I might not be able to save you," Wagner said as he pulled out a small bag of silver needles.

He flicked his fingers, and two silver needles landed on Lily's body. After that, he inserted more needles.

A total of 18 needles were inserted into Lily's body. Each acupoint was blocked, so Wagner used the silver needles to unblock it.

After that, Lily felt very comfortable. She felt as though cool water was flowing through her body and cleansing her blood.

The treatment process lasted for only ten minutes. The others waited quietly and didn't dare to talk. They only focused on Wagner.

"All done." Wagner put away the silver needles and said flatly, "Try not to get too worked up in the future. Otherwise, you will get sick again. Understand?"

"Okay, Dr. Kray. Thank you… Thank you so much!" Now that Lily felt much better, she thanked Wagner repeatedly.

"Why are you thanking me? If it hadn't been for Hayden, I wouldn't have come," Wagner said, deliberately mentioning Hayden to remind them why he had come.

As soon as the Sterling family members realized that this was all because of Hayden, their expressions looked stiff, and they fell silent. After Hayden had tormented them earlier, they weren't in the mood to feel grateful to him.

Having Wagner around would boost the hospital's reputation. Even if it were just for a day, it would draw significant attention.

"I'm not interested in dealing with ordinary sicknesses. You guys are capable of handling them already," Wagner declined. He didn't think that the illnesses of the patients in the hospital were worthy of his attention.

"Dr. Kray, please take a look at my son. Does he seem healthy? I'm really worried about this. Please take a look at him."

Francis seized the opportunity and hurriedly brought Morgan before Wagner. It seemed like Francis just wanted to confirm something. After all, the most important thing to him was Morgan's health.

Wagner glanced at Morgan indifferently and sized him up.

"Your son has inherited your physical constitution. Remember to do everything in moderation, or you'll become weak. He's truly your biological son. How interesting!"
