"I hope I can see the ocean before I die. This is my only request. Is that okay?" Lily murmured as tears streamed down her face.
In an instant, the room was filled with sadness.
"Lily!" Julia and Anna said. They burst into tears again and cried uncontrollably.
None of them had expected death to come so quickly, and each of them found it hard to let go.
"Why? Why are you doing this? Hayden, do you dislike me that much? I'm begging you… Please stop torturing us." Morgan sobbed as he looked at Hayden.
At this moment, Hayden seemed to be the villain and also someone that the others didn't understand.
"This is ridiculous. Even though you are in front of everyone, you still made the same decision. He's just your foster son, yet you are willing to abandon your biological daughter for his sake.
"Are you really willing to let her go? Is Morgan really just a foster son? Or could it be that Lily isn't your daughter at all?" Hayden asked.
His words shocked everyone.
Anna and Julia already knew the truth, so they weren't surprised. However, it wasn't the same for Lily and Charlotte, as they didn't know the truth.
When they heard Francis' decision, they were very shocked. It was beyond anything that they could comprehend. They kept wondering why he had made that choice.
"I'm leaving." Hayden smiled satisfactorily and turned to leave.
Lily was very sad. She felt that Francis loved her less compared to Morgan. Although Morgan was his foster son, his place in Francis' heart shouldn't outweigh hers.
Charlotte felt very uneasy and nervous. She suddenly had a disturbing thought. If it wasn't for Hayden but someone else instead, she feared that Lily might die for real.
Charlotte wondered why Francis had chosen Morgan over Lily. If it had been Julia or Anna, would things turn out the same?
Charlotte gritted her teeth, and her expression was grim.
Meanwhile, Morgan stared at the door coldly. He was livid as he clenched his fists. Soon, he would make sure to kill Hayden.
