Penelope relaxed and calmly sat in a chair, smiling, "You were only carried away in the ambulance yesterday, and today you have been discharged from the hospital. Director Bosh is really gifted with quick recovery."

"Manager Reed, I’m not fine yet. I'm just afraid of delaying the company's business."

Carlos still had circles of gauze wrapped around his head, and he was wearing a hospital gown under his suit jacket. He blushed and said attentively, "I remembered I hadn't told you about the inside information about Meyer Group yesterday, so I hurried back to tell you. The welfare of the company is paramount."

Penelope raised her delicate chin in the direction of the sofa, signaling Carlos to sit.

This man just needed a beating. If she had asked him politely, he would not have said anything, but after beating him up, he brought the information to her door.

"Meyer Group's project on nanorobots has matured and started today, which coincides with Diamoson Corp's medical development project."

Impatience flashed in Penelope's eyes. She rubbed her temple and said harshly, "Say something useful. If not, then get lost."

Penelope turned the gold pen in her hand and raised her eyes to ask Carlos, "Is the source of this information reliable?"

For such high-level confidential information to be known by someone like Carlos, his source must be at a top position in Meyer Group.

Carlos had already offended her, and he knew better than anyone the consequences of teasing her again, which would not be as considerate as breaking his ribs.

"Miss Reed, if the project with Meyer Group succeeds, I have a gracious favor to ask," Carlos said in a flattering manner.

Penelope seemed to have guessed it all along, "Do you want to join this project?"

Penelope quickly flipped through the resumes of the applicants. She nodded slightly, indicating that the Director had shortlisted persons qualified for the role, but her smile froze abruptly when she saw a name. She then pointed to the person's photo on the resume and poked it.

Andrew Harris!

Penelope coldly instructed the Investment Project Department Director. “Remove this person from the list."

The head of the project department quickly took it from her to confirm who it was. After seeing the name, he seemed a bit hesitant.
