Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 779

After her firm answer, she looked down and said with some defeat, "Of course I trust you, Sarah, but can I really get better? I hate that feeling—I hate losing control whenever something triggers me."

Mia hated how she frantically searched for Sarah every time she woke up. She felt like a huge burden. She tried to control herself and not think about Sarah, but that only made her heart race even more.

Looking at Mia's reddened eyes, Sarah felt heartbroken. She knew how much psychological patients suffered during their episodes—whether they were lost in the attack or painfully aware of it. It was like invisible chains around their arms, needing constant supervision, with anything potentially triggering another episode.

"Mia, I will cure you," Sarah said firmly. For Mia's condition, she had tried many approaches, including contacting Dr. Jane Lawrence and many famous psychologists both domestic and international. But none of them could confidently say they could cure her.

Mia's condition wasn't rare, but there was one major problem—Sarah herself.

Mia feared her psychological trauma but stubbornly treated Sarah as a safe harbor, giving Sarah her complete trust. This had led her into a dead end.

When someone becomes completely dependent and trusting of another person, it becomes very difficult to break that cycle.

Sarah suddenly gripped Mia's hand tightly and said seriously, "Mia, would you be willing to try a new treatment method with me?"

Zachary focused on driving while occasionally glancing at their conversation through the rearview mirror.

Mia nodded earnestly. "I'm willing."

"It might mean being away from me," Sarah added.

Mia suddenly looked lost. She could accept any treatment method because she believed Sarah would always be there with her. But why was Sarah saying she might have to be away from her?

Before Sarah could explain, Zachary already understood the reason.

"Mia, don't be afraid," Zachary said gently.

He opened his phone, called Sarah, and turned up the volume.

"Mia, close your eyes and let yourself relax. Don't think about anything—just empty your mind." Sarah's voice came through the phone.

Following Sarah's instructions, Mia slowly settled back into the reclining chair. Zachary had specially ordered it from overseas, with every curve designed according to ergonomics for the perfect angle.

She became more and more relaxed, slowly closing her eyes as that voice guided her to where she needed to go.

This place was familiar to her. Just like in thousands of previous hypnosis sessions, she found herself once again at that abandoned factory where men shouted about wanting to devour a young girl.
