Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 780

She stared in terror at those men with their monster-like fangs, not daring to make a move.

"Help me, help me!"

In the dimly lit room, the girl lay on the reclining chair, frantically waving her arms while the man beside her watched with worry but never reached out to touch her.

The voice on the phone continued, "Mia, what do you see?"

"Men—those men are surrounding a woman. They're saying they want to eat meat, to eat this woman's flesh." Mia's voice trembled.

Sarah had heard Mia describe this scene many times before. Hearing these horrifying details again, she felt less fear than before.

"Mia, it's all fake. They're just trying to scare you."

"No! It's not fake! They're picking up knives."

In Mia's vision, the woman was pushed to the ground. A burly man held a knife and slowly crouched down, placing the blade over a blazing fire until it glowed red-hot.

The man stared intently at the woman's thigh, then stabbed down viciously.

"He's cutting flesh!" Mia's voice broke apart, as if she was witnessing the most terrifying thing imaginable.

Hearing her description, Zachary nearly dropped his phone. This scene reminded him of something.

"Mia, stay calm. In that bloody room, you should be able to see other people. Think carefully—who else do you see?" Sarah asked.

She'd asked this question many times, and Mia had answered it many times. There was always only one answer.

"Sarah is there too."

Drink what?

She spun around to see a man carrying a bowl walking toward the woman lying in the pool of blood.

The next moment, she saw it clearly—it was a bowl of blood.

"He's forcing her to drink blood! That's blood—human blood!" Mia screamed uncontrollably.

Sarah was stunned. She unconsciously remembered the scene at Westfield Mall, where she had found herself in ruins while a man approached her with a bowl of blood, saying, "Drink this."

"Mia, what do you see?" Sarah's voice began to tense up too.

Mia didn't hide anything and described everything she saw. "That man is walking toward the woman with a bowl of fresh blood, putting it to her lips, trying to force her to drink it."
