Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 778

The noise around her made her feel dizzy and confused. A red, bloody mist surrounded her as she watched in terror while someone walked toward her carrying a bowl.

"Drink this."

Sarah stood frozen. Why was she having these hallucinations?

"I won't drink it!"

But the man kept pushing the bowl toward her face, trying to force it down her throat.

Sarah knocked the bowl out of his hands. Bright red liquid splashed everywhere, filling her world with crimson. The bowl had been full of blood—dark, fresh blood. She squeezed her eyes shut in horror.

"Sasa! Sarah, what's wrong?" Zachary gripped her shoulders and shook her gently.

When she opened her eyes again, she saw Zachary's worried face.

The red mist, the man, the bowl of blood—it was all gone.

What had just happened? Was it a hallucination?

She rubbed her eyes and saw someone dressed as Edward Scissorhands walk by, carrying fake bloody props. Her face went pale—that's where the smell had been coming from.

"I'm fine," she said quietly.

Zachary followed her gaze to the props and moved to block her view.

"Don't look."

Sarah's face was still pale. Just seeing those red props made her feel strange.

Just then, a scream came from the ice cream shop behind them.

They both spun around and looked at each other. "That's Mia!"

Sarah and Zachary rushed over to find Mia standing at the ice cream shop entrance, staring at the crowd in terror while people gathered around her, pointing and whispering.

Zachary had already brought the car around, and all three got back in.

Once they were away from the mall, Mia finally calmed down.

As she gradually came back to herself, she looked at Zachary driving and Sarah's worried face, then said guiltily, "Brother, Sarah, it's all my fault. I had another episode."

"Don't talk nonsense, Mia. This isn't your fault," Sarah said, gently stroking her hair for comfort.

Mia leaned against Sarah and asked a question that had been bothering her for a while. "Sarah, can my condition really be cured?"

It was something she'd been thinking about for ages. After so many treatments, she still kept having episodes. Even she was losing hope.

Sarah looked at her seriously. "Mia, do you trust me?"

"Of course! I trust you completely, Sister Sarah."
