Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 777

Mia wrapped her arms around Sarah's and blinked as she looked at the road ahead.

This was such a perfect opportunity—it would be a total waste to just drive Sarah straight home.

Why not use this holiday to try and get Sister Sarah and her brother back together?

With that thought, Mia pretended to spot something exciting and squealed, "Brother, stop the car! I want to go to Westfield Mall!"

Zachary glanced at her in the rearview mirror. The siblings were totally on the same wavelength, but he kept a straight face and acted stern. "What's all the noise about? If you really want to go, I'll have the housekeeper take you later."

Mia's voice dropped with disappointment. "But the mall's Halloween event might be over by then. Zachary, you're so mean!"

Sarah couldn't stand seeing her look so pitiful and hesitantly suggested, "Maybe you could just stop somewhere for a bit?"

Hearing this, Zachary was secretly thrilled, and Mia excitedly threw up a sneaky peace sign behind Sarah's back.

So the car slowly pulled over to the side of the road.

Both Zachary and Mia got out, but Sarah felt weird about the idea of going shopping with them.

She rolled down the window and said tentatively, "Mia, why don't you let your brother take you shopping? I'll just wait here."

Mia immediately grabbed Sarah's arm and whined, "Sasa, I want you to come with me!"

Yeah right—the whole point of coming to the mall was to get Sarah and her brother together. What would be the fun in just going with her brother?

After Mia's repeated pleas, Sarah finally got out of the car.

Westfield Mall was packed with people, everyone dressed in creepy costumes or gory outfits.

"Sarah, Zachary, I'm going to get some ice cream! Wait for me here!" She immediately ran into a nearby ice cream shop, leaving Sarah and Zachary staring at each other awkwardly.

Zachary knew exactly what his sister was up to.

The sweet smell of candied fruit filled the air. Sarah had just taken a bite when she caught a strange scent.

A strong smell of blood drifted over from somewhere, making Sarah frown in disgust. The smell made her feel sick.

The bloody smell got stronger and stronger until she almost threw up.

"Sasa, what's wrong?" Zachary noticed something was off.

"There's a horrible smell." Her face went pale and she felt dizzy.
