Noelle turned around and saw Wyatt in a wheelchair. His face was twisted with rage, like he was ready to pounce on her. She coldly said, "What do you mean I ruined the family?"
"Isn't it obvious? You found the truth about the car accident years ago and knew Sean was still alive, so why didn't you tell us earlier? You played the video at the dinner party on purpose and completely embarrassed me!"
Wyatt had been hiding in the Liddell residence these past few days and dared not leave the house. He'd invited some friends to the dinner party that day, and now he was the laughingstock of his circle. This was all Noelle's fault.
He'd tried to call Noelle multiple times, but his calls never went through. It was obvious she'd blocked him. He'd been dying to vent his anger, and now, Noelle had the nerve to come back herself.
Noelle's voice dripped with mockery. "Is why the only word you know? You're useless and are nothing but a barking stray dog. What gives you the right to lecture me?"
Bristling like a dog whose tail had been stepped on, Wyatt erupted in rage. "I'm your older brother—your biological brother! That gives me every right!"
"You ought to thank me. If I hadn't exposed the truth, you would've married the daughter of Mom and Dad's murderer. Do you think your conscience could live with that?"
Wyatt faltered a little at those words, but he quickly retorted, "Sean caused their deaths, and it had nothing to do with her. Don't mix things up."
"Sure. Maybe she's not responsible from a legal standpoint, but Xenia knew he was alive and that there was more to the accident. Yet, she chose to hide it for him!"
Wyatt fell silent, and Noelle pressed on, "Plus, she secretly teamed up with him to seal that huge sum of money from Donovan's investment. Now, Liddell Corporation is on the brink of bankruptcy."
"Stop spouting nonsense. Donovan's company is successful, so how could it go bankrupt over just one stolen sum of money? Stop trying to scare me."
