Noelle looked at all the executives standing outside the car and felt even more reluctant to get out, but Cedric was already standing there, so she had no choice.

She bit her lip. Fine. It wasn't like their relationship was some big secret anymore, so they could look all they wanted.

Bending slightly, she stepped out of the car. Cedric naturally reached for her hand and held it as they walked forward.

Noelle noticed that though his other hand was wrapped in gauze, it didn't affect his noble air at all. In fact, it added to his over-the-top presidential flair.

She felt a little embarrassed at first, but Cedric swept a cold, domineering glance over the gathered employees. Everyone instantly lowered their heads, and none dared steal another look.

Deep down, everyone was practically losing their minds. Cedric had brought his rumored girlfriend to the office!

Well, it wasn't exactly a rumor anymore. The two were holding hands, so she had to be the real deal.

Noelle followed Cedric into the president's exclusive elevator.

Once the doors closed and cut off all the stares from outside, she turned to him and asked, "Is this how you always act in front of your employees?"

"Like what?"

"Cool, arrogant, and just over-the-top?"

Cedric raised his brows and smirked. "Well, I am the boss. If I don't act like one, how else am I supposed to keep everyone in line?"

Noelle had never seen this side of him before and thoughtfully murmured, "People really do have two sides."

That comment made Cedric pause. He could tell that something sounded off and looked down at her. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing at all, Mr. Greene."

Cedric was utterly speechless.

Soon, the elevator arrived on their floor. Cedric schooled his expression into a cold, professional mask and strode into the office.

Following closely behind, Noelle finally got a look at the space he worked in so often. The decor was just like his villa.

"Do you have a lounge or something in here?" she asked, looking around.

"Are you tired?"
