No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1090

Cedric kept studying Noelle's expression. "What's wrong? Is that a hard question to answer?"

Did she learn the 12-hit combo from her crush? Was that why she looked conflicted?

Cedric pursed his lips. He was starting to feel jealous of that man.

"Not at all." Noelle stared at him confidently. "I learned it by watching your videos. You're the one who taught me. I didn't lie about that."

In her previous life, Cedric had always been her gaming friend. Other than training her, he had also told her to study videos of King performing the 12-hit combo. So, all in all, she wasn't lying.

Cedric observed her. "You're not lying?"

"I'm not. It's the truth," Noelle said sincerely.

It was only then that Cedric looked away. It seemed to be true. After all, his signature move wasn't easily mastered. There really wasn't a better way to learn it than from watching his own videos.

Noelle cautiously asked, "Did I say anything else?"

"What do you think you said?" Cedric smiled and probed.

He really wanted to know who she had a crush on, but he just couldn't bring himself to ask.

Noelle started to panic. Did she say it or not? But since he hadn't asked, it probably meant she hadn't said it. Still, she must have blurted out something.

Thankfully, she had only said it while drunk. Even if Cedric thought it strange, he likely wouldn't take it seriously.

Seeing her obvious look of relief, Cedric felt even more stifled. So, was she feeling at ease because she hadn't revealed who she had a crush on?

Cedric sulked and got out of bed.

Noelle looked over. "What's wrong?"

He turned and stared at her with an unreadable gaze. "Are you hungry?"
