No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1072

Noelle still felt that things were surreal when she saw Xenia's corpse. In her past life, she wished nothing more than for Xenia to die after all.

Back then, when Noelle was kicked out of the house and began to wander the streets, it was Cedric who gave her a sum of money that she could have used to start over a new life somewhere far away.

But she decided to go back to the Liddells to try and settle the score with Xenia. In the end, she was admitted into a mental hospital by Donovan. And this time, Xenia had finally died.

Carl walked up to Noelle and looked down coldly at Xenia's body. "She should've died a long time ago."

Noelle looked at the corpse covered by the white sheet. She slowly reached out to it, but Carl stopped her.

He frowned and said, "Don't look, Noelle. People often die with a horrifying look on their faces. It'll traumatize you."

Noelle then slowly withdrew her hand. She watched as Xenia's body was wheeled away. "What about the baby? Is it a boy or a girl?"

One of the nurses answered, "It's a boy."

Noelle then turned to Frank and asked, "What are you planning to do with the child?"

Frank replied, "We'll be sending him to the orphanage."

She thought for a moment and said, "The child is probably Justin's. We'll find a way to do a paternity test for that. If the child really is Justin's, then you should send him to the Parham family instead."

Xenia had died with her child being born prematurely. If the child really was part of the Parhams, then he would most likely be able to grow up with a normal life ahead of him.

Donovan was surprised. "Are you really sure that the child belongs to Justin?"

"I'm not. That's why I said that we should do a paternity test for the child," Noelle replied.

Donovan then replied decisively, "Then there's no need for a paternity test. If the child isn't Wyatt's, then it has to be Justin's."

Noelle looked at him with a mocking expression. "That's not exactly the case. Have you all forgotten about Gordon, the butler? The timeline fits just right. It could also be his child."

Both Donovan and Frank immediately recalled what happened back then after hearing Noelle mention Gordon.
