Diana’s POV

“What’s going on here?” I gasped as I stood frozen at the doorway‚ my hand still gripping the handle.

Sienna stood in front of Isaac‚ dressed in nothing but a bra and her pencil skirt. Her blouse lay carelessly on the table beside them‚ and the sight hit me so suddenly that my mind struggled to understand what I was seeing.

For a moment‚ I could not breathe.

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

“Shit!” Sienna gasped as she quickly grabbed her top and slipped it on‚ her movements rushed and embarrassed.

I remained standing there‚ unable to move‚ unable to think. My chest felt tight‚ and a strange ringing filled my ears.

“Why couldn’t you fucking knock?!” she snapped before rushing past me and out of the office.

The sound of her heels faded down the hallway‚ leaving behind a heavy silence.

“Di‚” Isaac called.

I turned away immediately‚ my vision blurring as emotions rushed through me all at once. I wasn’t ready to hear anything. I wasn’t ready to listen.

“Di. It’s not what you think.”

“I don’t think you need to explain‚” I said quickly‚ my voice shaking despite my effort to sound calm.

“Di…”

“Isaac‚ please‚” I said‚ stopping him before he could come closer.

Why had I been such a fool?

The thought echoed painfully in my mind. Isaac wasn’t mine. He had never been mine. I had no right to feel jealous or hurt over whatever he chose to do with his life.

He was my boss. Nothing more.

Whatever had happened between us last night suddenly felt distant and meaningless. I forced myself to accept that reality even though something inside me refused to settle.

Isaac was free to be with anyone he wanted.
