Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 645

Josefina filled her parents in on her latest findings, including the mysterious woman the nurse had mentioned.

“She said the woman has a mole behind her ear, and it’s pretty noticeable. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have remembered her after all these years. Mom, Dad, have you ever seen anyone like that?” Josefina asked.

Trying to recall something from eighteen years ago wasn’t exactly easy.

“It’s okay if you can’t remember right now. Just let me know if anything comes to mind,” Josefina reassured them.

Hattie and Garrett both nodded.

“Josie, I’ll definitely tell you if I remember anything. Right now, I just can’t think of anyone like that,” Hattie said, turning to Garrett. “Garrett, have you been causing any trouble? Maybe someone from your past is jealous of our Josie’s happiness and is stirring up this mess?”

Garrett was taken aback. “Honey, how could I? All my secretaries are men, and I always take you to every event. My loyalty to you is rock solid!”

Josefina couldn’t help but laugh at their exchange, feeling like she just got a hefty dose of their sweet banter.

“Mom, Dad, I’ve got to step out for a bit.”

She needed to check on Oliver’s condition. That man had a knack for not looking after himself.

After grabbing some meds from the lab, Josefina headed to Oliver’s office with the supplies in tow.

Oliver was still in a meeting, so Josefina quietly set up her laptop and started working.

Twenty minutes later, Oliver walked in.

Seeing Josefina, his face lit up with a smile. “Josie, you’re here. Did you miss me?” he teased, pulling her into a hug. “Because I missed you.”

Josefina gently pushed him away. “Oliver, let’s check on that wound of yours. Have you been taking care of yourself? Did you even take a bath last night?”

Oliver gave her a cheeky grin. “Were you spying on me?”

Josefina rolled her eyes playfully. “What are you talking about? It’s not like I’ve put cameras in your bathroom.”
