Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 1200

They were sprawled out on the ground, feeling like lambs being led to slaughter, completely at the mercy of forces beyond their control. But wasn’t their fate in their own hands? Not in Cassandra’s!

They gasped for air, even though it was stale, feeling a wave of despair washing over them. "Help me," a weak voice pierced the silence, pleading for salvation. That single cry opened the floodgates, and soon others joined in, their voices rising in a desperate chorus. “Help me…” “President, help us…” “Are you serious? She’s the one who got us into this mess—cough…”

Someone started coughing up blood. Josefina spoke up, "I've got some medicine that can ease your symptoms, slow down the toxins from spreading. If you trust me, take it. If not, don't waste it."

Cassandra gritted her teeth. If Josefina gave them medicine now, would they still be loyal to her medical association once they recovered? "No! You can't take her medicine! Absolutely not!" Cassandra shouted.

Josefina shrugged, "Alright, if you don’t want it, I’ll be on my way." Mandy had already given medicine to a couple of classmates and, hearing the commotion, rushed over. "You’re all just lying here waiting to die?"

Mandy’s words cut through the crowd, drawing weak gazes her way. Her face was stern, her voice brimming with frustration, "If you’re so eager to die, go ahead. You’ve been exposed to deadly nightshade—there’s no coming back from that."
