Oliver scooted closer, practically squishing himself against Josefina.
"Oliver, you're too big! Stop squishing me," Josefina playfully elbowed him, half-annoyed, half-amused.
Oliver leaned in, swiping her phone with a grin. "Josie, there's a hacker trying to break into our company's firewall."
Josefina turned, her deep, dark eyes wide with surprise. "What? That's... terrifying."
Oliver chuckled softly. "Is it really that scary?"
"Of course it is! We're talking about hackers here. Is your security strong enough? Everything okay?"
Looking into Josefina's sincere eyes, Oliver couldn't help but wonder if she was genuinely clueless. "Josie, are you telling me you had no idea?"
Josefina shook her head vigorously. "I had no clue, honestly."
Pulling her closer, Oliver locked eyes with her, "Josie, you know every action leaves a trace, right? It can be tracked."
Josefina fell silent. Was Oliver trying to catch her off guard?
Oliver continued, "Should I call you K, or 'my dear wife'?"
Josefina was speechless.
"Sammuel's security system got stripped bare again, Oliver. You're quite something." Josefina finally admitted defeat with a sigh.
She suspected she might get exposed, but she couldn't bear the thought of Oliver's company being at risk.
In marriage, his problems were her problems too.
"The tech team thought I was K. Jimmy even came by to ask. I bet he's already figured out you're actually K."
Josefina was at a loss for words again.
Sitting up, she changed the subject, "Let's head home. I'm starving and could really go for some shrimp cocktail."
Oliver nodded, "Sure, let's eat."
He knew Josefina was just trying to dodge an encounter with Jimmy.
After all, time has a way of mellowing out curiosity, right?
Oliver and Josefina slipped away quietly.
