Leaving the Wrong Love Behind Forever novel Chapter 120

"Mommy, Mommy!" Just as Sylvia was deep in thought, a small voice suddenly called out to her.

Startled, she looked up. It turned out she had been standing outside for who knows how long. All the other parents had already left, and she was the only one remaining.

In that moment, Hendrick spotted her and rushed over, calling out in delight.

"Hendrick." She couldn't contain her joy and waved to him through the railing.

"Mommy." The little guy wiggled his tiny butt and scampered over, reaching out his chubby hand toward her.

She grasped his soft little hand and, with tears in her eyes, said, "Hendrick, Mommy is so happy to see you."

"Mommy, did you recognize me as Hendrick?" He heard her repeatedly call him "Hendrick," blinked his big eyes, and asked curiously.

She teared up, smiling, and replied, "Yes, you are Hendrick, not Christopher. You are my wonderful son."

"Mommy, I love you so much." Hendrick beamed and exclaimed happily, his expression mirroring Jennifer's.

"Mommy loves you too." She reached out, caressed his little round face, and smiled, but tears streamed uncontrollably.

"Mommy, please don't cry. I've already brought the money. I asked the butler to pay the tuition fees for Christopher and Jennifer at the Academic Affairs Office. I informed Butler Lang that Christopher and Jennifer come from a struggling family and need assistance. He paid for me. Don't work too hard in the future. I have money and can take care of you."

Hendrick retracted his tiny hand, pulled out a substantial stack of money from his pocket, handed it to Sylvia, and spoke in a sweet, childlike voice,

"Don't worry, this is my New Year's money, not from Daddy. I gave it to you."

Sylvia held the money in her hand, tears flowing like a river breaking through its banks.

Observing the sum, Hendrick felt it was insufficient, so he quickly whispered in her ear,

"Mommy, don't worry. Daddy has plenty of money. I'll find a way to get all of it for you."

Sylvia opened her mouth but remained speechless.

Arthur sat in front of the computer, meticulously reviewing resumes page by page.

The recruitment for a therapist for Hendrick garnered significant attention. Within a few hours of posting on the talent market, it attracted hundreds of job application letters.

Given the importance Arthur placed on his son's mental health, he took it upon himself to personally scrutinize each application.

As he meticulously examined each resume,

The doorbell abruptly chimed.

"Come in," he directed, his gaze fixed on the computer screen without lifting his head.

After a brief moment, the door swung open automatically.

Sylvia, adorned in professional attire, entered slowly, clutching an envelope in her hand.
