She felt so faint from the sudden jolt that she started swaying in place and almost fell forward. Hank, Adrian, and Janice quickly steadied her and helped her sit back down.

The family crowded her with concern, but Shannon remained motionless.

When Marie finally regained her composure, she turned to Shannon. Her gaze was sharp with shock and disbelief. "Are you… Are you telling the truth?"
