Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 514

"Why should I suffer the consequences? She's the one who should be suffering!"

In the face of Ethan's mockery, Bonnie shouted angrily and pointed at Winona standing nearby.

"If it hadn't been for you giving me that breakfast before the SATs, causing me to get food poisoning, and failing the test, I wouldn't have ended up at some Tier 3 university!

"You ruined my future and went on to get into such a great school. Everything you now own should have been mine; is it wrong for me to take it back?"

Winona trembled with rage at Bonnie's accusations. It took her a long moment to retort with her eyes red with anger.

"I've never wanted to give you that breakfast! You took it from me!

"Because you snatched it, I took that exam on an empty stomach!"

Winona had nearly fainted from hypoglycemia after the exam.

Back then, she had felt a little annoyed at Bonnie, and when she learned that Bonnie had failed the exam because of diarrhea, she started feeling guilty.

Bonnie had brushed it off and said that it was her own fault. They stayed in touch though they attended different schools.

Winona never imagined Bonnie to be harboring this resentment all along and blaming her for that.

An incident like that was no different from a thief breaking into a house, getting injured, and demanding compensation from the homeowner.

"You did it on purpose! You ruined my life! Winona, you destroyed me!" Bonnie screamed. Her face twisted with madness.

Deep down, she knew the truth but refused to accept responsibility for ruining her own future. Instead, she convinced herself that everything was Winona's fault.

She couldn't stand it, so when Wallace approached her, she agreed without hesitation. There was nothing to fear about soul-switching.

She had thought that once she became Winona, she would have everything the latter had. But Wallace had never told her that the soul-switching could be undone.

No one present paid attention to Bonnie's deranged ranting.

Winona knew that after everything she had done, reasoning with her was pointless. Whatever friendship they once had was gone after Winona endured torment and humiliation from Wallace in Bonnie's body.

Now, the broken legs were Bonnie's karma. Wallace had truly broken Winona's legs.

If Winona could, she wanted Bonnie to feel the pain of having her bones shattered, but she knew she wouldn't get that chance.
