Chapter Twenty Nine

“I want to talk to Sahaan. Please, excuse us for a minute." He tells her as he makes his way towards Sahaan.

He holds her by the wrist.

Sahaan is terrified, knowing he is going to take his anger out on her. He is about to take her outside with him, but is stopped by Amrah, who holds Ahmed's wrist.

"Ahmed! Leave her hand right now!" Amrah firmly tells Ahmed, narrowing her eyes at him.

She knows her brother's nature, and is aware that he is about to lash out on Sahaan. Grandmother already told her to keep Sahaan away from Ahmed till the wedding. And she intends to keep her promise.

"Sister!" Ahmed is shocked seeing her sister's behavior towards Sahaan. She used to loathe Sahaan. Now, how did her behaviour suddenly change so dramatically?

"Let her go, Ahmed! Whatever you want to say to her, you can tell her after your wedding." She glares at him angrily this time.

Ahmed leaves the room. not before glaring at Sahaan; secretly promising her that she is about to face his wrath.

"Thank you, sis!" Sahaan thanks her.

Amrah just shushes her as she gives her the wedding dress and tells her to get ready.

Her makeup is bare minimal yet looks gorgeous. Her veil is red and cream and she feels weighted.

She is trying to adjust the slit in front of the frock. But the door suddenly opens. Sahaan assumes it’s Isra, who is going to take downstairs for the wedding ceremony.

"Isra, please help me with this veil. I can’t handle it. It's really heavy.” Sahaan says to the person standing near the door.

When she doesn’t receive an answer, she looks up. Ahmed is standing there instead of Isra. Fear engulfs Sahaan's body, her face pales seeing him.

Ahmed notices her reaction upon seeing him and this clears his doubt about what Tanzeen was saying.
