Chapter Twenty Eight

"My dear, don't worry. Your grandma is with you! She’ll talk to her. And as long as I’m with you, I won’t let anyone harm you.” The mother consoles her daughter.

"Now, have some breakfast. Check on Amrah, then get ready, the makeup artist will be here soon." She lovingly pats Sahaan’s head.

Sahaan nods.

Sahaan enters Amrah's room. Isra and Azra are sitting with Amrah, looking at her jewelry and dress.

"Finally, my future sis in-law is here!" Azra teases Sahaan.

"You knew? Was I the only one who didn’t know?" Sahaan is shocked hearing Azra and is more shocked to see Amrah smiling at her. She’s fine with it?

"Yup, I am!" Amrah says, happiness radiating from her face. Embarrassed, Sahaan looks down. She said that out loud!

Amrah gets up and goes towards Sahaan, bringing her inside the room.

"I'm really happy. My brother can't get a better bride than you. I’m sorry for how I've been treating you. You were my best friend before and you still are." Amrah tells Sahaan as she looks down, embarrassed by her previous behaviour.

"It’s okay! I know it was not your fault." Sahaan embraces her in a tight hug.

"Sister hug!" Azra yells and joins them along with Isra, making them fall on the bed. They all laugh as Amrah groans since all of them are on top of her.

"Bro!" Hammad yells at Ahmed, glaring at him. Ahmed just rolls his eyes at him. All of them chuckle seeing how Hammad is getting bullied.

"I’m going! I’ll complain to grandma, you idiots." He yells and leaves, stomping his foot.

"Anyways, what are you doing here, Ahmed? You Have something to say?" Amrah asks her brother.

“I want to talk to Sahaan. Please, excuse us for a minute." He tells her as he makes his way towards Sahaan.

He holds her by the wrist. Sahaan is terrified, knowing he is going to take his anger out on her.
